Hi, I'm new here and wanted to show a short 10 minute film my friends and I made in the summer.

It's Loosely based on a real life WW2 operation. It follows a group of British SAS soldiers behind enemy lines in France.

This is our first short film we've been involved in and was filmed in two days (we needed a lot longer really, 1 take scenes towards the end of shooting), but we worked on the script and preparation for weeks. It was shot on a Sony HC44 and tripod (which broke on day 2 hence handheld shots) and had £120 to spend, mostly for costumes. Music and most sound effects are not ours, we are not musicians and it didn't have enough atmosphere without. None of us are actors but we tried our best! I play Pvt. Cole.

Well I have been involved in short comedy sketches that my friend produced, but they were just us messing about with a camera really, so yes it is my first. We just learnt things as we went along. I will definitely be doing more though and I'm considering a film course at university.
