My business partner and I are old hands at theatre, and he has branched out, along with his brother into the indie film industry. I am also on board as a co-editor, and I wanted to introduce myself and my company.
Our theatre company is called Bottle Tree Productions, and it has been around since 2006. Before that, we both volunteered at a different theatre. Charles is a writer and director, I produce and direct. Anyway, our website, http://bottletreeinc.com has a few articles, mainly about acting, monologues etc, and currently mostly directed at theatre, however, we are adding things constantly, and as the film comes along, we will certainly be promoting it there as well.
Many of the articles on the site are applicable to film, and, since I know what it's like to be a starving artist, and I know that many of us wear multiple hats, I also wanted to let you all know that we have a script contest offered that closes soon. Of course, blogging is a little quicker than coding new pages for our site, and we have more on the film in our blog. If you are interested, you can google 'bottletree.blogspot.com' and it should show up.
