It's out!
I had to do a quick Google search to find out what HitFilm was all about. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

With money getting tighter and tighter, it's a good solution for saving some money with something that offers features to make a good film.
Interesting where the manufacturers made a deal with Sony to make a special edition for Movie Studio. Adobe may very well jump on the band wagon. Sony and Adobe pretty much own the mid range market for post software suites. The high ends are AVID (Media Creator) and Apple (Final Cut).

Using it out right now. AWESOME program. Highly recommend. I feel like it's doing everything for me. I feel like I'm doing... nothing. 
Seamless integration with editing, compositing, particle effects, and 3D effects.
I've been really busy past few weeks and I look forward to using it. All I can say right now is that I love the VFX/editing integration, but the audio really kills me. Lack of filters and even basic controls.
