I've been mainly directing but am learning more about being a camera operator. Not even close to being a super smart techie like a real D.P. is but I'm trying to be a better operator. Have done a decent amount of editing too.
I'm living in the north shore BTW. North of Boston.
nice. ive also been mainly directing, but when i make a short i tend to do everything becuse free is easy, and i have at least a basic knowledge of everything. What do you tend to shoot on? I use a t2i right now, thinking of getting a t3i body at some point. I'm actually only about 2 hours north of Boston, so we are like neighbors!
I am currently shooting on a Canon 60D. It's a pretty nice camera for now. I have the kit lens and a 50mm prime 1.8. I'm the same way, I learned the basics of everything and decided to focus on directing. Recently, I started doing more videography/camera operation but I really enjoy it so far. Yeah that's not that far at all, seeing as I'm probably 30-45 minutes north of Boston in traffic.
