Ahem... John from London (are there many other Londoners here?) Has everyone here taken one of the NYFA courses? I have been considering one (or a similar one, run by another company) and wonder how much more value they are for money than just making a few cheap shorts with my own crew and said money?

Any advice guys?

Hi John! I am not familiar with the NYFA courses or their costs (so I can't offer any advice comparing that cost vs. spending it on projects) IMO, if you already have the rudimentary filmmaking skills (OttFilms is yours, right?), why not make the shorts you've already planned with your crew? I'm assuming you'd be making at least one short during the NYFA course, so you'd still have that expense either way. Best of Luck!
