Hey all, my names Sam. I'm studying Screen Production at the moment (just began the 2nd year, eek!), and the tutor/lecturer strongly suggested that we join some filmmaking forums, and recommended this one, so here I am! 
Along with a Screen Production degree I'm also studying Gender & Cultural Studies.
I'm from (and live in) Western Australia. I took a quick look through the Welcome threads and didn't see many Australians so far 
My passion and interest is in directing, however I love the feel and thrill of working in any role on a set.
I'm not sure what else I should say, so my favourite film genres are sci-fi and comedy (of various sorts), yet interestingly I'm most comfortable creating dramas (thus far...)
I look forward to getting to know you all, and getting comfortable here in the forums
