Firstly, I'd like to say I'm really digging this forum! Well hey everybody, I'm Chris. I currently am attending Foothill College(as a highschool student) but I plan on transferring to UCSC. I work at Stanford right now, in the video department for football. Occasionally, I get to do camera work but the majority of the time I'm just editing, cutting and marking away at those damned-near endless football plays. Its funny because I'm not really into football, but hey I get paid decently! They love me there too, wanna keep me their every year until I graduate. Anyways, I've been into film since I was about 9 or 10, just making my own little home videos on an old JVC camcorder. In high school I took took Video Production and Advanced Video, loved em both. Here is a link to my youtube page, mostly just filled with highschool projects I made, don't hate! Plot wasn't really what the class was about, mostly technique and plot STRUCTURE. http://www.youtube.com/user/ChrisRaawrr Favorite movies are 28 Days Later, Trainspotting, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, Dracula, The Descent, O Brother Where Art Thou, and Borderland. What I love most about film is the editing, I can just sit and slave away for hours on end without a care in the world. Shooting, of course is also fun to me, but hell isn't it for most film makers?(or so I think) Well shit, that was a long introduction and sorry I'm putting you all through the labor of reading all that! But hey, nice meeting everybody!
