Here Today, Gone Tomorow (Working Title)

EDIT: The film is to be short 15-30mins

PREMISE
The tale of two best friends, never seen apart. Always together... until illness hit. While Oliver is battling for his life, James must overcome his demons to see his friend before its all to late...

This came into my head to help my counterbalance my upset metre while two of my family members are very ill. Its a way for me to not to think about them and to come up with a story.

Im still outlining the story, but wanted to hear opinions on the premise, as for some reason i swear ive heard it before :L And if thats the case, then i want to do my own concept to it.

Is this a gay story?

Could be a little self-indulgent and boring.

Maybe if they were under 10 and there were some decent action sequences, excitement rather than sitting around waiting to die...

It sounds like "overcome his demons" is the crux of the story. So I would just be interested to hear more about this aspect of the story. Do you have the entire story sorted out already? Because it sounds like you don't know the ending. As far as if it's a good premise, all I can say is it's not what you do, but how you do it.

I have two possible endings Im working on the overcoming the demons part, thinking of how to potray them. Got a few ideas. nothing to fancy havent mastered cgi :L
