Help: Ways to merge scenes?

Hi,

I have a peculiar problem. Through out my screenplay, I have lot of action which happens in an apartment complex. The action moves through various locations in the complex. For e.g: apartment A, apartment B, bathroom A, bathroom B, bedroom A, common stairs, building entry, garbage rooms etc.

I visit this complex 7-8 times in my story and each time action moves through above mentioned locations. BUT each time, the action is continuous.

Because of multiple sub-locations, the entire 7-8 visits has bloated to roughly 8 x (5 or 6 sub locations) = 40 - 45 Scenes. On reading, the scenes are quite clear n do not confuse at all but if someone takes a glance at the script for 1st time and if the first thing he wants to do is see how many scenes are there, it will just look way too overwritten!!

I have such issue at couple of other places too. So, in the end, instead of having maybe 100-110 scenes, I am ending up with 170-180 scenes....out of which roughly 50-60 are just 4-5 lines and some even lesser.

HELP
Is there a way I can merge lot of action happening at multiple locations but that are part of one master location in same time into 1 scene?
Eg: I have 8 pages of screenplay having apartment A, apartment B, bathroom A, bathroom B, bedroom A…etc. But its the same apartment complex. Is there a way to merge it all in one scene? Is it good to do it?
