Hello everyone. I joined the forums because I want to make movies. I have an overactive imagination which has gotten me in trouble. I don't have a camera so I guess I'm a writer or at least a person that writes. Ultimately I'd like to become a cinematographer. Darius Khondji, Jeff Cronenweth, Robert Elswit, Mihai Mălaimare, Jr., Wally Pfister are a few of my favorites.

Do you have a phone? An iPod? A laptop?

Then you probably have a camera of sorts. Shoot something with that!

Also, welcome! Have you written much, or done anything else before?
 
I have a camera that takes terrible photos so I actually never cared to look and see if it could do video. Turns out it has 720p video.

I used to write a short story everyday a few years ago. Then stopped, but in the past few months have picked up the pencil again. The reason that I don't really like telling people that I'm a "writer" is because I don't get paid for it and I don't really read all that much. What I do read is usual non-fiction. Philosophy and big fat history textbooks outside of school.
