I've just started out in the film making business. It's interested me for about 3 or 4 years now, but never really had the motivation to really dive into it until a friend of mine said he was interested. A few years back I started dabbling in special effects and green screening with After Effects and Premiere pro, which was fun, but I had no direction.
So now, I'm trying to scramble and learn everything I can about the entire process, but I think my focus will probably be more of the technical, editing and SFX side of things. For now, this is only a hobby for me, but in time, I hope to make it more of a profession (10 years of working in IT is wearing a bit thin on me).
Sadly, right now, all we have is a Canon HF10, but if/when the Red Scarlet is released, we'll have a professional camera
