Hey everyone and all.....I have been checking out the forum here for a few months and decided to finally join in the fun.
I am a author/screenwriter, living just outside Baltimore City. So far, I've managed one spec sale of an original script, and have gotten tapped to do rewrites on two other scripts, one of which has been produced. I was also hired to write a new ending for a sci-fi film in the middle of shooting.
My original dream was to be a novelist; I had a friend hip me to screenwriting. So my background was always more literary than film.....but now I am getting more interested in the tech side of it and might want to work on the crew on a production just for the learning experience. I've been on one or two sets, but only as a visiting dude going "Oh wow" at everything instead of participating. But I would love to meet some local filmmakers just to hang out and bullshit.
