editing HD Mastering

I recently completed editing a feature and would like to create a file as a master for archiving (for transfer to HDCAM) I already made a Blu-Ray but would like a tape master.

Just wondering what the ideal format, bitrate etc should be - I'm assuming an HD MOV file would be a good standard but there are a lot of options within that format.

(Shot on P2 720 24p native, edited on a PC in Avid Xpress which output a Quicktime reference file. I'd be using Sorenson Squeeze to do the encoding)

Anybody out there who can give me some tips on this? Thanks!
