Has anyone tried any good open source video editing software?

I'm looking for something that will work on XP. I'm also looking for a good DVD authoring program that is open source.

I've tried the heroinewarrior version of cinelerra, doesn't quite install completely yet. Looks great though. Where'd I put that link...here it is:

Dont get me wrong it looks like a cool program, but why dont they post any screenshots?
