Film has played numerous festivals and won several awards, many for best narrative or for the performance of Anthony LaPaglia.
Happy Hour is "a love story, straight up with a twist": this is the dramatic and emotional story of a gifted writer (LaPaglia) and the two people who come to understand him best his best friend (Stoltz) who idolizes his talent, and the woman (Feeney) who comes to love him.
I have seen this film and it is everything you would expect from an indie film featuring these actors: smart, witty, urbane, and bittersweet. Good date film
