Brushy Creek Films are a UK based film production company scheduled to shoot our feature film GRIDIRON UK (aka The Railroaders) in March 2010. This sports comedy drama is based on a true story from 1984 set in the heart of Cheshire England. It follows the sometimes hilarious exploits of a bunch of ordinary British blokes who decide to form and American Team in the land dominated by Cricket, Rugby & Soccer. The Full Monty meets Friday Night Lights.
We are looking for £25,000 ($40,000) to use as development finance to help us bridge the gap until our major finance of £1.5M ($2.4M) is secured later this year. We are therefore looking for investments in multiples of £1000 or $1500 in exchange for shares of the film. All investments will be paid back in full on the first day of principle photograph and shareholder payments annually thereafter. This in effect will be a short term loan from the investor. We can supply contact details of existing investors who are currently backing our production should you need confirmation of our investment scheme. All have met personally with writer/producer Gary Delaney.
David Soul (Starsky & Hutch) has been helping develop the script since July last year. We are trying to persuade him to Direct the film on his return from France later this month. The production is headed by Gareth Jones ex-MD of Handmade films who he founded with the late George Harrison. Gareth has put together the finance for many features such as Mona Lisa, Long Good Friday, Two Smoking Barrels, Withnail & I to name but a few. He is a well respected Executive Producer with an outstanding track record of selling films to major distributors and securing worldwide cinema releases.
You can view a synopsis of the film and outline details at: http://www.brushycreekmovies.com/Railroaders.html
I would be happy to send details via e-mail of our Investment scheme to anyone who is genuinely interesting in investing min £1000 or $1500. Further details of cast and crew are available on request.
Any questions please ask, we have nothing to hide. Post or send to brushycreekfilms@hotmail.co.uk
