Hi guys,
Good to do the meet and greet. Looking forward to the world of film and all that goes along with it (headaches and accolades!!)
I've been a musician for a long time but recently began acting and directed my first one act play at the local theatre. Great fun and experience. Although I'm not completely familiar with the world of Indie Film, I am very familiar with Indie Music and I am transposing a lot of that skills set to Indie Film. There is a real DIY culture in music and as I get ready to roll the camera I am astonished at the similarities in approach to both mediums.
I live in a small town a couple hours North of Toronto. I at first thought this might be a negative, but as it turns out there are a lot of suoer talented people in the area who didn't want to be part of the Big City grind...however it turns out these people are still wanting to be involved in projects and that has been to mine and their great advantage.
Within the music industry I always placed art before commerce and although I still believe in that edict I am realising I'll have to relax on the reigns in thus business.
Writing is my first love so I'm working on a screenplay but my initial directing job will be an adaption of a script of a one act play.
Look forward to getting to know you all!

I don't have a film website yet but here is my band from a couple of years ago. Rock and Roll...
