I just won a bid for a Canon 28mm 2.8 for £64 off Ebay. The auto focus doesn't work, so it's manual focus only. Was I smart to buy it? I don't really see why I'd need auto focus to be honest. Filming with auto focus is for amateurs. Would be nice for photography but I think I can survive without it. Main reason I wanted a wide angle lens is because I need a lightweight lens that has a really wide depth of field. My 50mm is also really hard to use when I film in doors in small spaces. Did I get a good deal or was I ripped off?
