Hey guys, I'm looking for a reasonably priced video camera to effectively shoot videos in a high definition format. Which kind of camera do you guys reccomend?

Canon HV10, HV20, or HV30... they are all very small (especially the HV10) and shoot 1080i HDV.. Any of these three should be easy to find for under $1000 new.
