Good Camera for first short film

Hey, i am new here and also to film making. I was wondering what kind of camera is good for a very beginner, i was thinking about the Canon HF S10 or the Canon Vixia HV30. Are these good camera's or should i get a different camera, also i am a bit low on the money side (note, i am only sixteen =P) but i was wondering what good camera i should get, for beginner's

I have an HF100 and it works great! But yet I havn't made a short(planning to do one in the summer). If you have a good external mic, and a cooperating editing program then your set. (note, I'm only 13)
