'Going Dutch' features the culture shock which our intrepid presenter Mark Fox-Smith had when he was sent by us to Friesland in the very north of the Netherlands, in order to investigate their strange, even slightly insane customs when celebrating the passing of the old year into the new. An explosive amnesty holds sway for just one day which the locals take full advantage of and which our production crew were able to document for probably the first time ever.
