Just spotted this on craigslist.. While I hesitate to mention it, as it will increase competition against the two films I submit for acceptance, figured the right thing to do is to pass it along.

Online Film Festival
Call for Submissions
The Global Independent Film Showcase (GIFS) is accepting submissions for its upcoming online film festival. The festival will feature between 20-40 films, which will be shown online.
What Types of films does GIFS accept?
We accept films in most genres, including comedy, action, documentary, drama, erotic, animation, romance, and avant garde. If you aren’t sure if your film fits, feel free to send it – the worst we can say is no.
GIFS is not another massive database of films. We are extremely selective about which films we accept, and reject the vast majority of the films we receive.
How To Submit your Film
Send Credit Sheet, Film History (i.e. festivals your film has already appeared in, if applicable), contact information (including both phone and email address), any other important or introductory information, and your film to:
Roland Media Analytics
4938 Hampden Lane, #485
Bethesda, MD 20814
If your film is already online (e.g. myspace or your own website), you can send a link to GIFSsubmissions@gmail.com.
We accept most formats. Films sent via mail should be on DVD or CD (no VHS, please). Formats accepted include mpeg, Real video, quicktime, windows media, etc. If we accept your film, we will (in most cases) request an mpeg file from you at that time.
If your film contains any explicit sexual content or nudity, you will be required to provide proof of age for all actors and actresses involved.
Submission Fee
As part of our launch promotion, we are waiving all submission fees until December 1, 2006.
Deadline
Deadline for the opening of the festival is December 1, 2006. However, we continue to accept films year-round.
When will I get a response?
Due to volume, we only send positive responses. We usually respond within two months of the submission date.
Can one group submit more than one film?
You may submit as many films as you want. We may accept more than one film per group. If your film is part of a series, please let us know.
Other Financial Information:
Certain films, due to their length or content, are pay-per-download. That means the viewer pays a fee before he can download and view the film. The filmmaker keeps 51% of the profits from the film. The rest helps us cover bandwidth, promotion, hosting, rent, etc. Pay-per-download films include films with any explicit or adult content, feature length films, and films in HD.
Most films will be available for free, where they can be seen by agents, distributors, and the general public. If you have a preference for pay-per-download vs. free, please state this on your application. Free films tend to get much broader exposure, while pay-per-download is preferable when strong demand for your work is assured. Note that a preference of category is no guarantee that your film will be offered a position in that category.
Copyrights, etc.
You retain all rights to your work. You may remove your film at any time.
How Long Will my Film be Available?
Films are available for view for a period of six month from official initial screening date. In some cases, we may give the filmmaker an option to extend this period at the end of the six months.
