pre-pro Getting Back into Things

How and where do I start? I've been away for a while and now really wanting to get back into filmmaking. My cameras and lenses are collecting dust and I miss creating and editing film. I think I've gotten a little lazy and maybe a little self-conscious. During the time off I did keep writing scripts(and entered one in a festival) and won an award for best short.
What would you all suggest for getting back into filming(physically, mentally, etc.)?
Thanks,
Shootman

I agree with Mara. Pick the easiest script you've got and just make it happen. I'd also add to make something fun for your first trip back. Don't get serious, do something that's fun to make and fun to watch. The good time you have will help encourage you to do it again.

I simply have fun, and work with collaborators that are not too serious and mentally exhausting. Sometimes making films is not always about the technical and professional aspects. It's about how you feel about your vision and how you can give your cast and crew your exigence, creativity and target audience (pathos) something they can relate to.
