Interesting premise and well acted; I sympathize with the character and wanted to know what happened to him. But the latex work needs some help. Not only is it clearly latex, but the wound underneath doesn't match the skin loss. You might try a lot of small wounds rather than one large one, too. It's more likely that he'd be scratching himself all over than in one place, trying to dig them off his whole body.
 
I like the doppleganger effect and the camera work when he starts flippin' out. the wide screen intro. of his friend didn't do well for the "feel". overall quite good in my 2 cent opinion.
