FS in UK: Brevis35 MP.2 (Non-Flip)

Hi Everyone,

I am having to sell my 35mm adapter, the lovely Brevis35, as I need to pay some rather large bills.

The unit and components are in MINT/AS NEW condition having only been shipped into the UK around 3 months ago from Cinevate Canada (www.cinevate.com). It has been charged just ONCE and used solely for testing purposes.

The battery will run for about 20 hours according to cinevate, which I completely believe seeing as how I have used it for about 6 hours during a test shoot and it still shows no sign of running out.

Examples:

To see what this can do, you can check out the following links. Both clips used either a Canon HV20 or HV30 with the Brevis35mm setup and lens:

This is the video I shot as a test with this very adapter and my HV20 (see my other items)

Obviously the video will look as good, if not better on a more professional camera, but this just goes to show you what it can do with, even with a small consumer camera!

Included in Sale:

* Brevis35 HD Imaging adapter
* Microprocessor Controlled Charger & Wall Socket
* Watertight ABS Pelicase
* HD 72mm Non-Flip Achromat
* Nikon F Mount
* Cinefuse X Imaging Element (a.k.a. CFX Ground Glass)
* 72mm-43mm Stepping ring

More information:

I've had some emails from people saying that it would be cheaper to buy direct from Cinevate in the USA themselves, well, here's how the costs break down if you were to do that yourself:

Brevis35 MP.2 - $675
CFX Cinefuse - $272
43-72mm Stepping Ring - $10
----------
Kit Cost - $957 (£599.23 @ 1 GBP = 1.59983 USD)
----------

Then add the shipping cost, customs duty and THEN put the VAT of 15% on top and it suddenly becomes alot more expensive.
Lets assume the shipping was about $30 (£18) and the Brevis was classified as a Video or Photography item (an average of 7% duty is not uncommon for this type of product), you're looking at:

Kit Cost - £600 (total from above rounded up to the nearest pound for simplicity)
Shipping - £18
Customs Duty (7%) - £42
-----------
Sub-Total - £660
+ VAT (15% of the sub-total) - £99
-----------
Total - £798

I am not considering offers of £475 or under at the moment for it.
I'll throw in free shipping to the UK mainland. Rest of the world, ask for quotes.

Feel free to ask questions or contact.

Rumple.
