Frame Rates for BluRay Delivery

So, with this action movie that I am doing, I've been trying to figure out frame rates for the delivery.

I'm aiming for worldwide distribution on DVD and BluRay and want to know how important it is to shoot 24p.

I live in Australia with easier access to PAL cameras. Is it worth my while importing an American camera that shoots 24p or is it better if to do a 25p-24p conversion?
