I am trying to get a decent low end stabilisation rig (I realise the two don't really go hand-in-hand). Initially I was trying to decide between the flycam options and the glidecam options, but I decided for the price difference, the glidecam was too pricey, and my money was better spent elsewhere.
So I kind of settled on the flycam, resigning myself to the fact that the setting it up would be frustrating. However, to someone who doesn't know much about them, what's the differences between the 'older' 3000/5000 models and the CF3/CF5 models? Obviously the latter is carbon fiber and lighter... Trying to find information about the differences is proving harder than I thought.
Also, if anyone else has alternative suggestions, that would be great too.
