First music video-feed back please

1:37-148 i enjoyed immensely. felt very right for the song. 1:56 - 2:20 was also very pleasing (visually). I felt like there really wasn't any theme, visual or narrative. It was nicely shot, but lacking in any real direction.

Some of the shots held some visual interest for me, but most kinda felt like local TV soft news footage, minus the narrative.

WIthout any vocal content to help shape our context of the visuals, we are really only left with whatever subject matter is shot, and the way it's presented. To keep me interested, vids for music like this are more engaging with either some solid human content story, or some really impressive visuals and composition.

It doesn't look like you have many accessories for your camera, so if you're going to be doing more vids like this then you might want to consider a tripod and sliders etc at some point for a smoother more professional look, and for the meantime you could always try putting together some other docu or 'story' footages too perhaps?

Thanks guys. No one was big on the water spiders? lmao. yeah, no lenes or nothing just the camera it self. this was all basically my own personal stock footage I have shot over last summer.

Yeah, I reckon you could do a lot worse than getting your mitts on a nice smooth and sturdy tripod. It will instantly let you get so many more shot types and more professional movements, and can be used as makeshift steadies, jibs, and shoulder stabilisers too.

I admit I didn't see the water spiders, I must've skipped past them. :P
