format Final Draft 12 - odd problem with capitalization

I recently upgraded to Final Draft 12 and am having an odd problem - I'm wondering if it's happened to anyone else here. And if so, how did you fix it?

I'm editing a screenplay, and when I revise the first line of a character's dialogue, FD 12 insists on putting the words in ALL CAPS, as if it were part of the character's name. Even if I try the "toggle case" function, it still says all caps.

My laptop is pretty new, so I don't think that's the issue. And that's actually the only reason I upgraded - because I was starting over with a new laptop after I (literally) spilled milk on the old one.

There is an "ALL CAPS" setting under Format/Elements Settings. Look at the dialog element ,Font tab and click on the "Set Font..." button. See if it's set to ALL CAPS for dialog.

It doesn't seem to be, but that's definitely where I'll check next time it happens - because of course now it isn't doing it.

And yes! Thanks @IvonV - it happened again just now on a new screenplay and that was indeed the problem.
Easily resolved now
