Final Cut Pro 3 help help - Mixdown problems

I've heard you can import more than one audio track via firewire, nothing in the users manual about that, anybody know how?

Mixdown on FCP is not like an Avid - I need to get multiple tracks down to 2 only for output. I've seperated all my tracks for possible OMF output later, but for storage I can only have a dialogue, and music and effects track. How do I mixdown all these tracks to two??

Any help greatly appreciated.
