If you're discussing the game, then the use might fall under the Fair Use doctrine. If you just want the guy doing something, you need to clear the game footage with the company.
You could also take the Nickelodeon approach and make some cheesy game footage in Microsoft Paint or Flash. If you feel like going professional, or making it a game your viewers will be familiar with, I would recomend Archie's approach above.
