filming at night

Hey, i'm making a movie, and a lot of it will be filmed at night. i might be able to get my hands on a handheld battery powered LED light, to film the scenes, but not much else since it's in the wilderness. Now i read that a camera like Canon 5D mk II is light sensitive and you can get away with using low lighting in night scenes. I actually dont have that kind of a camera, but my friends has this one.

How can I tell from the Specs if it's light sensitive and can be used well in night scenes? What do i look for in a camera for that?

You should test it, but I don't think 5DmkII will be sufficient.
Also test how low your batteries last, because you can't charge them in the wilderness.

I think an A7s is the best choice for this, and then you will still need some light, or bright full moon, to get a nice image.
