It's the other way around, dude. Film critics have got movies coming out of their ears. You've gotta seek out the ones who are willing to review yours.

I get a bunch of indie filmmakers, mainly features, emailing for reviews every week. I don't really do indie reviews (I had planned to do a weekly short film post but that didn't work out) so it's kind of a waste of time for them, but you should try and find 30+ blogs/websites that do reviews and email them requesting a review.
The sit back and come to us attitude is reserved for the bloghers
