editing editing effects

hey wanna know to add editing effects to my movie, like dividing the screen in 8 parts and playing different things in them??

What software are you using? This is a very simple technique in regardless, but if you tell me what kind of software you've got, I'll find a tutorial on youtube for you that you can easily follow.
