The Edinburgh Short Film Festival, Edinburgh's accessible, friendly & eclectic short film festival, launches soon! Dedicated & passionate about short film, we've been screening the best contemporary Scottish,UK & international short film since 2011.
For 2017 we're excited to bring a programme of outstanding short cinema, featuring 29 UK premieres and 28 award-winning short films! There's 78 short films,25 countries, ranging from ranging from Chinese drama and German Horror to Greek Sci-Fi and animation from India. The programme includes BAFTA & Cannes and SXSW award-winning shorts.
On top of all that, we're holding free-to-attend film funding workshops, a script pitch competition for young writers, lively networking events, Q & A sessions, meet the film-makers as well as late night parties and live music!
