Highlights are the "Ian Sinclair Weekend"; a cinematic journey through Hackney, "The London Perambulator"; an exploration of London's Edgelands, "Dalston Docs"; 3 documentaries about The Four Aces Club, Abney Park Cemetery, and a local artist, and "Michael Bracewell In Conversation: Obsessions-Free Cinema To Roxy Music"; an investigation of 1970s Roxy music (Roxette) and alternative lifestyles in the 1950s (Food For A Blush).
During the festival you’ll be able to visit our outdoor screen in Spitalfields Market, where you can don 3D glasses and marvel at these unique films which play with time, space and sound to create a whole new way of experiencing the city. Films shown so far feature Columbia Road Flower Market, Victoria Park and Blackwater Tunnel.(Friday 24th-Thursday 30th of April 10 am until 10pm).
