dialogue Dual+ Dialog

Many Questions

1. In my script I have 4 people saying something at the same time-ish. And I know of dual dialog, but its 4 people, not 2. So I'm not sure how to do it, but I did find this.

Here is a little of the scene:

PRESTON

Wait. I have a question. What are you still standing on that side of the table? Are you trying to make yourself the leader?

THEODORE

I second that.

SPENCER

Fine. Lets pick a lead--

All 4 people cut him off and speak at the same time. Is it the correct way in that above link where I list all 3 characters and dialog in one character line? Should I use a parenthetical putting 'in unison', 'simultaneously'?

2. And also if their saying something different. Is he also correct on that? Listing all 3 under each other?

3. Did I use the right method to cut someone off? '--'?

4. Here is a little bit of another scene I have, it is at the end of the scene.

SPENCER and THEODORE trade places.

THEODORE

I'll go over the rules later when were ready to hit the bank, but for now, first things first. Weapons.

CUT TO

END.

EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT

FADE IN

When he says weapons, I want a really hard stopping like a cut to another scene. But I need that other scene to fade in. So a hard cut and fade in. Like maybe at the end of an episode with a lot of suspense like this, as you can see it ends hard, then the credits fade in, well instead of credits I need my scene to do the fading in. I'm just not sure how to script it correctly.

Did I do this correctly or is there another way or what?

5. Do I fade in then do the slug line, or slug line then fade in?

Thanks!!

From that link of yours:

ALL
(in unison)

I hate you!

Seems to work well. I'm not really sure to be honest.

Do I fade in then do the slug line, or slug line then fade in?

I suggest that you don't try to lock in elements the director should be deciding with his DP and editor.
