Dsc H300B help

I have a DSC H300B sony camera. It's far from perfect but it's what i've got. I'm mostly happy to have purchased this camera BUT while filming some comedy sketches i realized that the image sometimes goes out of focus.

Can someone give me some tips to prevent this from happening if possible.

You might want to read the manual. I found the instructions for setting up tracking focus on page 88 in the users' guide here: https://docs.sony.com/release/DSCHX300_guide_EN.pdf

If you can't make it work, turn the autofocus off. It's killing you.

It's not the HX300 camera, it's the H300.

you'll need to read the manual of your camera. from a quick google search, it seems that you can use a tracking focus mode. i didn't see anywhere that manual focus (on a physical ring) is an option.
