DP Cost?

Hello all.
I have a question about hiring a DP for a single day. What is the cost of hiring someone for a single day, multiple setups on HDV? This would be someone like me that is not a pro, just someone starting out that would love to work on something. I know it's tough to nail down an exact amount, so a ball park figure would work.

Smooth talk them, and they'll do it for free.
If they're bringing equipment and a camera, then it'd be reasonable to negotiate a price. Ask them what they think they're worth, and often they'll give you a quote that will be reasonable, as long as you present your project in a good light!

Tough call. I'd say offer $100 for the day for an inexperience DP. Don't go for a totaly newbie because you'll get what you paid for.
