Fanedit style video from the show True Detective for my song "Carcosa". Obviously spoilers if you haven't seen the show.

The song is from my upcoming release as Doors In The Labyrinth. You can download it, as well as the other demos here: https://soundcloud.com/doors-in-the-labyrinth/sets/2015-demos
The lyrics are from Robert W. Chambers' "The King In Yellow". The melody is by my friend Chuck Owston, who first did this song (as a spooky folk song) in 1994. The arrangement, performance and recording is by me. As a demo recording, this is more or less how I'm performing it live; when time for the actual recording rolls around, I'll give myself a little more freedom to do things I couldn't necessarily pull off by myself.
The intent of the video is as much to get my music up on youtube with something slightly more interesting than a still photo, as it is me being a fan of the show, and hopefully fans of some of the creepier aspects of the show might enjoy my music. A few friends have expressed interest in doing an actual video for me, so hopefully I'll have something better to share this summer. Also, as a musician and not an editor, I have no idea what I'm doing right in this, let alone doing wrong, so any feedback would be great!
Very much looking forward to season 2 of True Detective!
