Greatly inspired by givesmehope.com and Operation Beautiful, me and several others have started a movement called "Project: AWOL" (Anonymous Words Of Love).
What it is, is real simple. AWOL encourages everyone leave messages in public and private areas, whether be big or small (post-its, Instant Messages, notes, graffiti, etc.), and for those messages to contain something that will lift someone's heart or give them hope or make them feel good or give them that smile to help them get through the day.
We're going to make this as widescale as possible so we're going to be filming promotional ads soon with a couple of YouTube stars. But what's really stopping us from launching at the moment is this.
We need pictures, examples, of these random messages of hope so I'd like to ask anybody in here who wants to do a little good in the world to do this and take a picture and submit it to projectawol@gmail.com so we can use them as examples when the site goes up! If you need examples, go to www.operationbeautiful.com but remember, don't limit the messages to just beauty and self-esteem.
