This is my DIY 35mm adaptor - first test

Side view, this will look cool on the rails I'm building at the end of my XL1s!

This is with the CD not spinning, image not corrected...it's upside down.

Here is some footage of me racking focus (still trying to figure out a mechanical 90 deg turn for the follow focus know), DoF Test focused near, mid and far. 50mm Nikon Lens. I also need a closeup lens kit to get zoomed in on the image...that will eliminate the view of the CD edges.

Cost so far ~ US$30 Mostly at Home Depot. Lens was dead when I got it, so free. Priced at US$50 used.
