Happy Fall Everyone!
We're only a week away from JT3 Art's big celebration of the filmmakers of tomorrow at the BAMcafe on October 22, 2009 at 7PM. Tickets are still available, but please make sure to purchase in advance to guarantee entry!
Filmmaker Adam Brooks (of "Definitely, Maybe") will be on hand to award the top distinction of the evening, and Tony nominated actor Brandon Victor Dixon ("The Color Purple") will be the event's emcee. Dancing and live music from New World Acoustic Rock group Brazz Tree, Brooklyn-based electronica group ZXL, Bossa Nova group Roland Ramos & Friends, and DJ set from The Ish Master of Russboy Productions.
Most importantly the five award winner short films from 2009's JT3 Artist Award grantees will be screened along with a tribute montage of our namesake's films. We can't wait for you to meet and greet with these talented artists - the filmmakers of tomorrow!
With your ticket purchase, you will be assisting us in awarding future grants to the many talented artists in Brooklyn and across the country who are in need of that extra bit of support to allow them to fulfill their dreams. If you cannot attend our event and wish to support our mission, please consider making a donation. Donations are accepted in any amount through the main page at www.jt3art.org. Tickets are $55 general admission, $30 student/senior admission.
