I am trying to find the right style for a British-American living room. I have to direct my graduating film this spring and would like to know how to properly dress a living room for my two main characters who are London immigrants. It is a widowed father and his daughter living in a low rent apartment in NYC.

This looks close to replicating with my $3000 budget. Any thoughts or tips would be extremely helpful.
