I have Direct TV and one channel they have is called "Current". They play indie videos and claim to pay up to 1000 dollars for your videos.
Only thing is, they seem to be mainly info or news videos/films. basically documentary style films and not creative or artistic indie films. I really enjoy watching some of the videos that are shown on the station and was wondering if this might have a future in mainstream television in the future. Perhaps PBS could do something like this.
anyways, its a way for anyone to get some exposure and possibly pick up a few bucks for future film projects at the same time.
