Hello

I am hoping to get input from filmmakers on their views towards consultants; specifically scientific consultants. I am a graduate student in neuroscience and have the knowledge, research capabilities, and creativity to provide advice on how to make films not only entertaining but as close to reality as the filmmaker wants. What are your opinions? Would you as filmmakers welcome input from the scientific community?

If I can get my hands on a consultant in an area I'm not knowledgable that will improve the film, I will.

That said your main target should be screenwriters as they are the ones who write the 'science' or 'military' into the stories.
