I've been working on this side thing and I used different levels of exposure to hide some of the flaws in it. I tested it on four separate displays at my home and on my phone and everything looks fine. But I have a friend who has one cheap monitor lying around, and I'll test things on it. I can completely see the exposure difference on his monitor.
So 3 questions:
1. Do you notice the exposure difference
2. Is the left side or the right side of this picture brighter?
3. How old is your monitor?
My monitors are are 3 and 5 years old. My TV also is 5 years old. My laptop is 3 years old. My phone is 2 years old. I can't tell the exposure difference on any one of them.
You don't have to answer all the questions. If you just let me know if you can see a noticeable exposure difference that is unpleasant, that's all I need to know. thx.
