Collaboration?

Hello. I've been seeking a screenwriting partner for some time now, but I keep hering from people for whom English is a second language (and shows), teenagers, or just people who aren't all that serious. I even hear from those who write only sci-fi, for instance, when I specifically put that I mainly write horror and thriller/suspense (though I am working on a drama). Of course, it's hard to package movies, books, or anything else for that matter, into neat little categories. But we have our own interests, and I've never been a fan of sci-fi or fantasy or westerns or comedies, to be perfectly frank. Does anyone here know a website or forum where I could post for screenwriting partners, or is IndieTalk a good enough site? You may reply through my private email screenplays@michellekarman.com, if you'd like. Thank you in advance.

Is IndieTalk good enough?! I'm sure there will be people here looking for a partner, and even if you don't find anyone for a while there are loads of great resources for every area of filmmaking.

meetup.com has screenwriting groups in most major cities. Find one near you, or start one. See who's style you like and ask them to colaborate.

I'm curious why you want a partner specifically?
