Hi all,
I am in the revision process and thinking a lot about one particular scene that needs work. It's a church scene. It has some nice stuff in there as far as showing the relationships between characters. The scene is really not at the place where I want to share it with people: I'm not a perfectionist at most things but when it comes to me my writing, I'm very particular.
Right now, I'd like to gather some typical clichés from church scenes in movies and see if maybe some of these clichés are seeping through my subconscious into the scene. The film is an ethnic drama set in the south so I guess the fact that there is a church scene is a cliché in itself
Thanks in advance for any responses.
