Hey peeps,

Take a second to check out our teaser for a movie we're making? It's just a local gig. We don't have any fancy equipment etc.

I've had a bit of feedback already (It's not been great lol) but I welcome more. It's just a teaser and it's main aim was to reveal the name of the film to the local community who will see it. We'll be working on the proper full trailer soon, so any advice will be taken on board.

I think the teaser isn't much of a teaser and not a proper trailer either. My problem with it, is that it's too slow for the progression that occurs on screen and that this is hinted as an action/suspense film. The pacing doesn't suit the atmosphere. There is a lot of text/logo time as opposed to something that should "tease" me about the film. Instead, I get a lot of information about it from the text itself.

I understand the back story and I know there is probably some kind of beast-like ape in that forest. The story seems to be along the line of the original Predator film.

Why has this happened then? Why is the teaser giving more percentage of its time to text and audio, instead of footage? I can assume it's because you are still in your first steps and learning a lot from your projects.

Please don't be discouraged, everyone has to go through a learning stage and the fact that you are filming your ideas is fantastic and you should keep at it full force.

Will take it all on board. To be honest, The whole thing is about the Name of the film. It's been concealed for a while... and people (our local fanbase) have been gagging to know what it was called.

Yeah, we're in our first steps... We're just a group of friends trying to do something with our spare time.

It's inspired by those cheap B Movie sorta films you pick up for pennies... It's not intended to be an amazing cinematic experience.

I won't lie, it's hard not to be discourage.
